AU-XBR753
The AU-XBR753 Microwave Real Presence Sensor is an advanced motion and presence detection device that utilises 24GHz continuous wave radar technology within the ISM band. Designed for high precision, it detects subtle human presence, including breathing, ensuring lights stay on as long as someone is in the area.
Built with an integrated circuit and energy-saving automation, this sensor ensures convenience, safety, and reduced energy consumption. Its reliable detection through walls, glass, and thin barriers makes it ideal for various indoor environments such as classrooms, offices, yoga centres, and kitchens.

Breathing Detection
Recognises even micro-movements like human breathing to keep lights on continuously.

Day & Night Operation
Smart ambient light detection allows the sensor to function optimally in both daylight and low-light conditions.

Adjustable Precision
Offers 360° detection with up to 3–4.5m range while consuming less than 1W power.

Key Functional Modes

Ambient Brightness Adaptation
Adapts lighting based on ambient brightness to optimise energy usage.
- Works during both day and night depending on LUX settings.
- “SUN” mode allows operation in bright light; “3” mode enables low-light activation.
- Ideal for areas needing intelligent light control.

Motion & Breath-Based Presence Sensing
Detects not just movement but human presence through subtle breathing signals.
- Activates lighting when a person is within 3m range (breath detection).
- Detects motion up to 4.5m and switches lights on accordingly.
- Maintains illumination as long as presence is sensed.

Adjustable Time Delay
Provides flexibility in setting how long lights stay on after movement.
- Time delay ranges from 10 seconds to 12 minutes.
- Timer resets with every new detection within the delay window.
- Customisable to user preference for different spaces.
Installation Guide
- Switch off power and remove the transparent cover.
- Connect wires as per the wiring diagram.
- Reattach the transparent cover securely.
- Fold the sensor’s metal springs upward and insert into ceiling cutout or box.
- Release the spring and turn on power to test the installation.
Troubleshooting & FAQs
1
Why doesn’t the load activate after installation?Check the power supply and verify whether the indicator light responds after motion. Ensure ambient light settings are appropriate and voltage is within range.
2
The sensor has poor sensitivity. What should I check?Ensure the ambient temperature is suitable, the target is within detection range, and the installation height matches the recommended 2–4m.
3
The sensor doesn’t turn off automatically. Why?Check for continuous movement in the detection zone or if the time delay is set to maximum. Also, verify power compatibility.
4
Why is the sensor not responding in daylight?Ensure the LUX knob is turned to the “SUN” position during testing. Low LUX settings prevent operation under bright light.
5
Can the sensor detect through glass or thin walls?Yes, the sensor uses 24GHz radar which can penetrate common materials like glass or drywall for effective presence detection.
