The AutronX AU-XF8 is a high-sensitivity ceiling-mounted PIR motion sensor designed for intelligent lighting control. It leverages passive infrared (PIR) technology combined with an integrated circuit to provide reliable motion-based activation.

With a 360° detection field and up to 8 metres of range, the AU-XF8 automatically triggers lighting when motion is detected, making it ideal for energy-saving applications. Its ability to differentiate between day and night via adjustable ambient light sensitivity ensures optimal functionality in various environments.

Designed for ceiling heights from 2.2 to 4 metres, this sensor is commonly used in lobbies, parking areas, hotel corridors, washrooms, and dressing rooms. It’s easy to install and delivers practical automation and convenience in both residential and commercial spaces.

Why is the sensor not activating the light in daylight?
Ensure the LUX dial is set to the 'sun' symbol. If set to 'moon' (min), the sensor will only work in low light (<3 LUX).

The sensor is not detecting motion—what should I check?
Ensure no obstructions are blocking the sensor. Also, verify the detection zone and avoid installing near metal or glass surfaces.

The light stays on continuously—what could be wrong?
There may be constant movement in the detection area. Check the zone or reduce the sensor's sensitivity.

Motion is not being detected reliably—what’s the fix?
Ensure proper mounting height (2.2–4m) and a clear field of view. Also, check for reflective or heat-generating objects nearby.

How do I test the sensor?
Set the LUX dial to maximum and time to minimum. Power on, wait 30 seconds for warm-up, then walk into the detection area to verify operation.
